Privacy
This is a small comparison site with no accounts and no checkout, so there is not much to collect. Here is all of it.
What we do not collect
- No user accounts — there is nothing to sign up for and no password to store.
- No payment details. Checkout happens on Viator; card data never reaches this site.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels, and no data sold or shared with data brokers.
What we do collect
Anything you type into the contact form. The suggest a route form asks for a name, an email address and a message. That is emailed to the site owner so it can be read and acted on. It is not added to a mailing list and is not used to market anything to you.
Spam protection. The form is protected by hCaptcha, which receives your IP address and browser characteristics in order to tell a person from a bot. That processing is hCaptcha’s, under its own privacy policy.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamp) for delivery, security and debugging.
Analytics, if enabled. The site can run Google Analytics 4, and does so only when a measurement ID is configured for this domain — otherwise no analytics script loads, no request goes to Google, and no analytics cookie is set. Where it is enabled, it records the usual aggregate page and event data. You can opt out on your own device by setting a ga-disable=true cookie for this domain; the site checks for it before the tag initialises.
Third parties that see something
- Viator — listings are fetched from its API by our server, and your browser loads listing images from its CDN. Once you follow a booking link, you are on Viator and its privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps — where a route map is shown, your browser loads it from Google. Where no map key is configured, no request to Google is made at all.
- Cloudinary — serves the social preview images.
- Google Fonts — webfonts are served with the page rather than fetched from Google at render time.
- hCaptcha and Vercel, as described above.
Affiliate links
Outbound Viator links carry a partner ID and a campaign tag so a resulting booking can be attributed to this site. That identifies the site, not you. See the affiliate disclosure.
Asking about your data
If you have sent us something through the contact form and want it deleted, or want to know what we hold, use the same form and say so. For data held by Viator, Google or hCaptcha, those requests have to go to them — we cannot reach into their systems on your behalf.
